Thanks you for appreciating the availability note. I had the lovely experience in the Co-op today of someone telling me they were reading "Amadan" ! A neighbour here also read it, but she took it in easy stages. It falls into six parts, and she felt the need of a break between them!
It was written over twenty years ago, so I am slightly apologetic about it these days! But some of the characters are real, such as Hugo de Groot from your neck of the woods. I tried to be respectful towards them!
