Saturday, 6th March: Answer to the riddle: And the husband said, "I found the remote."
Many of you got that one right on, but the very first was Donna Langford Holmes. Many of you had other answers to the riddle, most of which were hilarious, but alas --
What a yummy day -- as I'm writing you, I'm looking out at a sunny sky and Alexa just told me it'll be a high of 60 degrees. It's CANTINA day! Now how about you guys? If it's not tacos for you, do go out and do something that makes you happy, maybe like fried chicken or green onion pancakes (Chinese) or sushi (Oh dear, I can't believe I wrote that, thank heavens it sounds better than raw fish.) Long ago when I was hired by Sony to teach English in Japan, I'd be invited to people's homes and of course since it was a treat the usual dinner was, you guessed it, SUSHI. I lost a lot of weight in Japan, came home a 96 pound weakling.
No walk today? Well, you're going to out shopping, hopefully, seeing what's cooking, visiting, and BEING SUPREMELY CAFEFUL even if you've had your vaccine shots -- Life is good today, and if you're in a -50 degrees place, whimper once, then think about what will make you smile and do it.

I'm Baaaack!

Update on BOMBSHELL, the 17th FBI Thriller: I'm nearly finished with the edit. The cover is very cool, explodes with eye-popping color. BOMBSHELL is set in Maestro, Va., (the setting of the 10th FBI thriller, POINT BLANK) and in Washington.
JEWEL OF THE LION (first thriller in A Brit in the FBI series partnered with J.T. Ellison). JEWEL moves fast and you don't know what's going to happen on the next page, and you're biting your toenails or a zombie's toenails. J.T. is an excellent plotter and that means when we brainstorm no plot gets left behind.
Alas, no kids want candy enough to crawl up our oxygen-deprived steep driveway, and the sad thing is, I still have a big bowl of candy, every year, but no one comes, not even the zombies with brain bags.
Take care, Catherine
