Today I Learned and Upcoming Book Update 11

What’s going on, Goodreads!

Today I learned taxis are a shortened word for “taximeter cabs” introduced in London in 1907, avocados are sometimes referred to as alligator pears because of the roughness of the fruit’s green skin, and “easel” originates from an old Dutch word for “donkey” as easels heft their own load of materials (such as from oil painting) much like a donkey does with whatever they are carrying.

In reference to my upcoming book, the character arc for the protagonist I’m working on is building up and tomorrow I’ll be creating more developments as the story continues. The climax is slowly approaching for this section!

Thanks so much for reading and have a good day!
