I has been awhile

But I finally wrote another post for my blog on BookLive: Kathleen Norris, Sisyphus and Me. The often heard lament, "I have so little time," gives the lie to the delusion that the daily is of little significance. Everyone has exactly the same amount of time, the same twenty-four hours. - Kathleen Norris

Judy Croome An excellent & very true post, Tiah! The daily tasks of our lives are certainly unavoidable (and, too often when faced with another gargantuan load of washing, I can sympathise with Sisyphus!) but it's also surprising how we can scrape the time together to write when we really want to. I'm learning how to separate the essential from the inessential in my life and it's in that difference that I find my writing time.

Tiah I made a typo in the title! That may be a new low.

Thank you for reading. I agree with your sentiment. I continuously find myself re-evaluating life, what can be moved around, what cannot and examine if there are things worth removing. Nor am I content to just whine about the how swimming is eating up my time. I am still talking to people about the problem and this is bringing in a plethora of suggestions. I am listening. Some are terrible (and rather amusing) but others have some merit. Followed up a lead today and should know by Wednesday if this is a solution for me. I'll still have to get wet and do the work, but it may be a much better environment and possibly 'give back' some of my writing time. Just set the alarm clock a wee bit earlier, and I'm totally willing to do that.

Judy Croome Haha, don't worry about it - are you talking about the "has" - I thought it was a deliberate spoof on those photos that have the animals talking strangely! :) Hope you get your arm problem sorted out - must be a real worry! :( Good luck - hope you find a workable solution!
