Moebius, The Long Tomorrow, Ridley Scott, Bladerunner...

Moebius
persuaded me to get to know the genre with his catchy drown story "The
Long Tomorrow" with scenarist Dan Brown. Ridley Scott was very taken by
it and has partly based the atmosphere of his timeless classic film
"Bladerunner" on "The Long Tomorrow". I think the precepts and the
characteristics of a society in the future may be as strictly regulated
as in the present. So that any possible criminal might suit his taste
beyond the law.
Moebius heeft met The Long Tomorrow,
op scenario van Dan Brown, mij over de streep getrokken. Ridley Scott
was heel erg gepakt door dat kortverhaal en heeft er deels de sfeer op
gebaseerd, die hij gebruikt heeft om Bladerunner te maken. Persoonlijk
vind ik dat de leefregels en de kenmerken van een maatschappij in de
toekomst even strikt geregeld mogen zijn als in het heden. Zodat
eventuele criminelen er op hun manier buiten de wet hun gading in
vinden.
Moebius m'a tire à connaître le genre
par sa bande dessinée "The Long Tomorrow" de l'écrivain Dan Brown. Même
Ridley Scott a été très pris par cette histoire courte et il s'en a
basé pour créer l'atmosphère pour "Bladerunner". Personnellement, je
pense que les préceptes et les caractéristiques d'une société à
l'avenir peuvent être strictement réglementé comme dans le présent.
Alors que chaque criminel trouve son goût sur son chemin hors de la loi.
