This is a Dog shortlisted for the 2021 Bookbug Picture Book Prize

The shortlist for 2021 Bookbug Picture Book Prize have been announced – and we’re delighted that This is a Dog, by Ross Collins, has been shortlisted! The awards, run by the Scottish Book Trust, are Scotland’s largest children’s book awards and are voted for entirely by pupils across the country.

A delightfully silly story about a mischievous dog who wants all the attention, This is a Dog combines bold illustrations with comically simple text. You can watch a video of Ross reading from the book below:
