A Year in Review…Thus Far

I sat this week scrolling through the titles of my blogs this year and I had to laugh. They are full of words like panic, fear, gratitude, little wins, etc. It is as if one could read my and probably many folks emotions as we’ve ridden through 2020.

I realize the year is not done yet and if anything, I believe it is accurate to say that many more events are yet to come. Still, 2020 is one for the books and a year in which we were absolutely made to feel. These emotions may have ranged from shock to fear to anger to surprise to fear… you get the point, there has been an air of unpredictability and the thought at time that nothing more could happen. And yet, we also realize that at times while life could be better, it could also be worse.

So what is the point of all this? The truth is I don’t have that answer. I’m not. Sure any of us do. Perhaps in the future we will look back and see a reason (or not) things happened the way they did. What we do know after this year in review thus far is that it has happened and we can probably all say we’ve learned something. I know I’ve come to learn what is more important and counts more for me in life. What have you learned after this near year in review?
