I attended a church service some years ago for the homeless whom I dearly love when I decided to stop going to the service because I didn’t like aspects of the service. One day the Lord broke through my pride, self-righteousness, judgment, and selfishness and used this verse to lead me to repentance and send me back to the service to do something altogether surprising which shouldn’t have been surprising in the least.
