Throwin’ It Out There Thursday 1

Today, I’m gonna throw out a hypothetical. It’s Sage vs….these fantasy characters. (I know there’s some crossover, but I will do sci-fi characters in a couple of weeks)

Choose from the list below – or suggest your own! Who here would be his FRIEND (He will gladly fight alongside them), ENEMY (He will fight against them no matter the odds), and FRENEMY (He will fight with them, but he won’t like them)?

AND…which enemy do you think he could defeat, and who would defeat him?

Aragorn

Hermione Granger

The White Witch

Inigo Montoya

Edward Cullen

Robin Hood

The Wicked Witch of the West

Éowyn

Tyrion Lannister

Percy Jackson

Flynn Rider

Jamie Fraser

Katniss Everdeen

Bilbo Baggins

Who else should be on this list, and what would Sage think of them?

Maddie Okay, I couldn't pick one! These are who I choose:
1. Hermione Granger
2. Edward Cullen
3. Percy Jackson
4. Flynn Rider
5. Katniss Everdeen

Luna Friend: Percy Jackson
Enemy: The Wicked Witch Of The West
Frenemy: The White Witch
Percy could defeat him, but he wouldn't want to.
Sage could defeat Éowyn, Bilbo Baggins, and Inigo Montoya.
I think Will and Jace Herondale should be on this list. They are both very similar to Sage in terms of their humor and wits. I feel like they would get along because they would make each other laugh.

sumayyah I don’t know all of these characters so I’ll just talk about the ones I do know. And I gotta say this is such a fun idea!

So, Aragon I think him and sage would be friends because he’d be a father figure just as he was with Frodo. Though I think Sage would get annoyed with him sometimes because everyone seems to get annoyed with Aragon at one point, but Sage would respect him. And I don’t think he could beat him in a fight..sorry Sage.

Hermione Granger: I think they would be Frenemies because she’d be really annoying to him but sometimes their goals would be the same. It’s like that one friend that keeps buzzing around you and you kinda wish they would leave when they’re with you but miss them when they’re gone :/ like a second Tobias LOL and Imma say Sage could beat her in a fight but mostly they’d be exchanging sassy retorts.

The White Witch: Total Enemies. I don’t see them ever aligning for a cause. Absolutely sure Sage could beat her. She would spout some nonsense to try and manipulate him and he’d pretend to go along with it but he’d make up his own plans to defeat her.

Edward Cullen: Frenemies only because he wouldn’t go so far as to kill him but he might throw him in a ditch. Sage would be intensely aggravated by this pretty boy who does nothing but sweet talk (honestly Sage I feel you) and he’d try to keep Imogen far away from him, for her sake and maybe a little his. In fact everyone in the castle might hate him, in fact Roden might be given a secret message to dispose of him. Not sure about in a fight but I think Sage would have everyone on his side, so his chances of winning –> HIGH

Robin Hood: Great Friends because they’d share a lot of common goals but they couldn’t be together too long or you’d find them making bigger schemes. Plus Sage would probably get agitated if he was with someone so like himself for a while. In a fight, I’d say it would be pretty even but Sage would eventually loose this one on his own, fighting against long range weapons aren’t his strong suit. (but maybe the fight will give him the passion to practice specifically against long range to one day defeat Robin)

The Wicked Witch of the West: Potentially Frenemies, he would find her schemes intensely amusing because he thinks they’re ill concocted but he could employ her services for his own needs and so he might keep her around. In a fight, no question sage would win.

Percy Jackson: Greatest Friends. Sage would undoubtedly fall in with Percy and his gang because they have such a similar taste in humor and snark. They’d fight battles together, have the best conversations possibly involving a few of Sages best pranks and Percy’s worst mishaps. They’d probably fight very often, just to see how strong they get after each battle. They’d be pretty evenly tied, only stopping after one of them falls from pure exhaustion. Percy’s powers would put him at an advantage since Sage is only human but they’re minds are so alike, Sage could anticipate his moves and his creative nature would be another tool he uses. Ultimately Imogen and Annabeth are the ones that pull them away, because after having their own fun they’ve just realized their boyfriends have gone missing.

Flynn Rider: need I say much? Sage hates him because he’s like a carbon copy of Robin Hood but he steals for himself, can’t use a bow, and his totally full of himself. Enemies and Sage could trip him and still win the fight.

Katniss Everdeen: Friends. Sage would have massive respect for her. Not only for her talents, but her courage, and aptitude even when she was given the blunt end in life. He would feel a close kinship with her in that and she’d be like a sister to him. She also knows what it’s like so she’d take care of him like he was her own sibling. In a fight, it’s Katniss’s win. They both know the life of scavenging and fighting for your life but Katniss knows it better and I think she’d win this one.

Lastly, Bilbo Baggins: They’d be friends. Especially when they wanna be left alone. I feel like you could see Bilbo and him just hanging in a hammock saying nothing but understanding everything. Like silent camaraderie. Then Fink would barge in and tell them to duel with him or something and they’d get annoyed and say they don’t feel like it. Then Fink would proceed to bounce on them until they got up. That’d be their perfect chill day ruined. In a fight, it’d be a tie because they are both witty and hobbits are exceeding small. They’d both find their way out of the fight though and go somewhere to chill out. Like a game of hiding seek with your little sibling but you make them hide while you pretend to find them but really you just left a long time ago.

Well that was my analysis of each character, I hope you enjoyed it. And I hope they were pretty accurate, they seem to be to me.
