Favorite Things (That Are Really Favorite Places), Part Four By Susan Hanniford Crowley

Today I’m giving you a selection of some of my favorite places.

#1. The Drive-In. Over the years, many drive-ins have disappeared from the country as inside cinemas grew in popularity. With the pandemic, some are making a comeback. One is the Mansfield Drive-In on Route 32 in Mansfield, CT. To find out what they’re showing, visit www.mansfielddrivein.com  There’s nothing like the cool night air and sitting in your car with your family or with your honey and enjoying a movie. Sometimes you just want to get out of the house.

#2 My favorite place to eat is David’s Place at 1647 CT-85, Oakdale,e, CT. Their lobster roll doesn’t disappoint. It is a take-out place only but well worth it. I always love love love their clam dinner and clam fritters. (They are across from the Dinosaur Place, a fabulous outdoor venue for families.)
