Closing my eyes, I inhaled. I filled my lungs with the forest air as Ehrim had taught me. To anyone else, nothing had changed. I knew better. His distinct scent lurked just underneath the varying verdant aromas of these lands.

I bit my lip. He was here, toying with me like he loved to do. It never grew old. My arousal intensified in anticipation of his touch.

“Isn’t it dangerous for a princess to be in the woods by herself?”

I shuddered as he spoke a mere inch from my lips.

“I’m not by myself.”

Ehrim ran his calloused hands down my arms, leaving a trail of goosebumps in his wake.
