The hour of life by Dhruthik Shankar
hour of life takes us to another world where we can witness the real bonding between father and daughter. So the father is basically a writer who has never encountered success throughout his life, his writings weren’t much recognized by the people in this competitive world.
The story begins with a young girl Jeeva, she will be sick and lying in the bed. That's when she got to see her father for the very first time, she asks her dad what is life so Aryan comes forward and explain some of the realities of life, be it, emotional bonding of parental relationship, friendship, love, career, siblings relationship, etc.
The author has imagined and confined those thoughts to words in the form of proses along with some beautiful poems. I could sense the emotional connection with poetry. Especially when Aryan recited a poem for his dad, it was touching and those lines are alive still. And here are some other lines that are stuck with me:
'We move on and love others in the world, but never say "I Love you" to the people who loved us our entire life.'
The book is amazingly written with heartfelt feelings and the narration was pretty good the one thing that could have been better is the descriptive writing cause' I felt a bit rushed over in certain pages but that did not really matter as there was a sequential flow of a heart-wrenching story. Overall I loved the way how the story was presented and I will recommend it.
