Twirl and Dip (WIP) Drake's POV
He asked about Eastyn when he phoned home, but his dad didn't have too much to say, other than her soda shop was a hit with the locals and the tourist alike. It wasn't what he wanted to know. He had a hunch his father knew that, too. He should have manned up and just asked the question, but he'd been a coward. If Eastyn was seeing someone, it would prove more than he could take.
Eastyn was one of the good ones, so of course, another guy would see it, too. He'd been the fool, screwing up that relationship.
Finally, after the last song of their set, and three more encore songs, he was able to head back to his dressing room. He changed out his sweaty clothes and into blue jeans and an AC/DC T-shirt and he donned a baseball cap and dark-rimmed glasses. He grabbed his guitar and the glass jar of sugar cones, then stood back to see if he missed anything.
