Striving for Accuracy

The stories are fiction but as a writer, I strive for accuracy. Nothing makes me happier (ok… that isn’t true… lots of things make me pretty happy) than someone who has a massive amount of experience in a particular discipline saying that my story felt authentic.

Getting the language right, keeping the characters in character and keeping the details from being mixed or muddled is hard work. And I don’t seek to write simple stories… there are a LOT of interlocking elements. Granted, this ...
