What Makes a Good Suspense/Christian Mix

I have read Dani Pettrey several times now. She is one of those authors who can have amazingly complex suspense stories with a good, solid Christian message. The one thing that she sometimes has too much of for my taste is the romance aspect, so I’m always curious to see what each individual book holds in that field.
