Let not the coronavirus stay the receipt of one’s first quarterly royalties in June. No, this time it was the internet deciding to classify the good news as spam. But why June, that is, summer instead of spring if the royalty is for the winter months of January through March? Because after a royalty period ends, it takes up to three months more for the financial wizards in charge of such things to get the figures and facts together in proper form to be reported.
Fair enough. So the spam having been discovered and rescued a few days after its June 19 sending date, I shall as is customary leave out both the publisher and the amount to avoid embarrassment on both sides. But it has been received, and it is (barely) of a positive value, so every little bit helps, does it not?
