Character Pairings (Not Those Kinds Of Pairings…)

It is perhaps unfortunate that the term ‘pairing’ is often used romantically when applied to characters. Today, though, I’ll be using it a little differently. When I say that two characters make a good pairing, I mean that putting them together usually results in good things for the story. Here, I want to talk about what makes certain pairings good.
