Credit: Ratna PochirajuA random raindrop slipsSparkling in the early morning lightTo disappear into the tiny puddleAt the feet of the old tree
Hidden in the heavy dark cloudsThe diamond drops break freeTo glide and slide over the leavesOnly to lose the glitterIn the blink of an eyeAnd vanish again
For how long, the raindrop wonderedWhen dripping from the cloudsTo earn the for the freedom it yearnedTo shine and shimmer alone Without merging
Into a shapeless water body
Little did the raindrop knowIts beauty and elegance lay In its ability to unite And give life to this world
