Land away from hersWith structures so oldCenturies of talesOf love, betrayal, and possessionDwelling inside the wallsCall her heartTo reach out and listenTo pry open the secrets hiddenIn the dark passagesThat took lives and saved themAt the whim of men Who liked to conquer
A strange allure the land hadWhile others around her Laughed, smirked, and ridiculedDeciding she fall for the glitterWhen it was the dark pastThat mesmerized her inquisitive soul
