COVID-19: HOW NOT TO PUT ON WEIGHT DURING LOCKDOWN
Are you, or someone you know, struggling with the temptations of the fridge during this pandemic? Do you find yourself reaching for the snacks, the sugar, the more you're confined indoors? Have you noticed the pounds begin to increase around your middle?
The coronavirus is challenging for us on a number of levels, but one issue that few saw coming was the overindulgence as we find ourselves stuck indoors day and night, the contents of the fridge and cupboards constantly beckoning.
This is a situation that many are not used to. However, the circumstances for everyone today are similar to my own for the past couple of years. As a very introverted and shy individual who works, exercises, campaigns and cooks at home, the situation many find themselves in is normal for me. I have therefore written this short book with the intention to help as many people as possible, offering tips for disciplining yourself to stay away from the fridge, indoor exercising advice, taking care of your mental health and a selection of healthy recipes to try.
I hope it will help you. These are strange and difficult times, but we can get through them by helping one another and helping ourselves.
