COVID-19: HOW NOT TO PUT ON WEIGHT DURING LOCKDOWN

Are you, or someone you know, struggling with the temptations of the fridge during this pandemic? Do you find yourself reaching for the snacks, the sugar, the more you're confined indoors? Have you noticed the pounds begin to increase around your middle?

The coronavirus is challenging for us on a number of levels, but one issue that few saw coming was the overindulgence as we find ourselves stuck indoors day and night, the contents of the fridge and cupboards constantly beckoning.

This is a situation that many are not used to. However, the circumstances for everyone today are similar to my own for the past couple of years. As a very introverted and shy individual who works, exercises, campaigns and cooks at home, the situation many find themselves in is normal for me. I have therefore written this short book with the intention to help as many people as possible, offering tips for disciplining yourself to stay away from the fridge, indoor exercising advice, taking care of your mental health and a selection of healthy recipes to try.

I hope it will help you. These are strange and difficult times, but we can get through them by helping one another and helping ourselves.

The book is available on Amazon and priced at £1.99 to be accessible to as many people as possible.

Take care - and stay safe!

How the Wolf Lost Her Heart hits the capital!

How the Wolf Lost Her Heart by Sarah Brownlee Below is a newspaper article the West London media wrote on me and my first novel How the Wolf Lost Her Heart

http://www.getwestlondon.co.uk/news/w...

It's a funny thing about articles ... they don't say half the things you wish they'd said, particularly when you spent a good fifteen minutes rabbiting on about the fact your home town was once home to the likes of J.M.W Turner, Pocahontas, Percy Shelley and not one, but TWO significant battles in British history! :D

(BTW - The prequel as mentioned in the article The Experiment of Professor Polgas is out now! )

Souls

Souls are very sensitive, delicate things. When they arrive on this miserable planet called Earth, they're exposed to a certain darkness that souls in their purest essence have no concept of. This leaves humans vulnerable to losing their souls or leaving the planet, i.e. suicide. To protect the soul, humans then subconsciously create walls, typically made up of barriers that encompass a whole degree of 'nasty' qualities because, for some strange reason, love and kindness are mocked and jeered as though they're something to be ashamed of. This usually results in souls 'going bad' or 'going cold'.

The trick is to keep hammering away at the massive wall until you find the soul.

But do so at your own peril. If you're going to attempt to battle another person's demons, be prepared to discover some of your own.
