Tuesday, 14th April -- Beautiful day in the neighborhood, which means a nice long walk today -- yesterday, we walked down the hill into Sausalito. There were maybe a total of 15 people about, wearing masks, everyone half-a-road apart. It was great to see things on foot rather than from the car. You see buildings/houses so differently. And, and up close and personal with the Bay, it was amazing. Are you finding this to be true as well? You see new things when you're out walking around?

I swear to you, I absolutely swear to you, that exercise makes you feel better. It also allows you to eat a bit more without getting heavy, and that's a good deal, right? So if the weather is okay, get outside and walk -- do everything you're supposed to go, but get outside and walk or jog or run or dance -- your choice. I know some states have gone over the edge with rules and regulations, or perhaps where you are they've gone the other way -- obviously you have to obey the leader(s) you elected state/locally-- if you're in a very strict area, then stay in your yard and do jumping jacks, wave your arms, use free weights -- at least you're outside, run around the yard with your dog, and that's what's important. Heads up, people, we're moving forward, slowly, but forward.

Lighten up the day for a second or two: I need to practice social distancing from the refrigerator.
