Thursday, 2nd April -- Okay, sit down right this minute, have a cup of coffee or tea (if it's early, no vodka) -- and ask yourself: What one thing am I going to do today to make me happy? To make me feel accomplished? To make me feel at ease and settled? Tell me what you come up with. To be honest here, I haven't thought of anything spectacular to do to make me want to dance on the ceiling, but right now, I'm going to come up with something. Do tell us what you come up with, particularly if it's really cool.

A reader sent me a video -- older woman, MRS. HUGHES -- comedytime.tv -- it was short and very very funny. I'm going to see if I can't find her on Roku -- you too. If you find her, see if you think she's as funny as I did and post it here for everyone, okay?

I posted a photo yesterday, but the sucker didn't show up -- I'll try again. It gives me pleasure to make this record of daily outings and share them with you.

Tighten down the hatches, people -- whenever you're outside, even if you're eight feet away from another person, either wear a mask (obviously you can't buy one, so make one, or tie a bandanna over your mouth and nose, or simply pull your shirt over your nose and mouth until you're well clear. (that's what I do when out hiking) Try to to buy two weeks groceries at a time, better yet, order online -- Okay, I'll stop blathering -- all of you already know this, probably better than I do.

Today is going to be a good day. We're alive, we're being careful, and each of us is going to come up with one thing to do to make us really happy.

Renee Hower-capozzolo The one thing i am going to do is read your book. I received 5 that i haven't read yet last week i ordered online. I just started "The End Game." I was tested on Monday for Covid 19 and awaiting my test results. Reading your books always keeps me happy. I will go out and get some fresh air as I can because i was told to do that. Hoping everyone stays safe out there.
