We all wilt from the word, whether it is a malevolent bug in our computers, or COVID-19 which is shutting down the world right now. For myself I am constantly avoiding germs by washing my hands, using the disinfectant wipedowns at the grocery, and deploying disinfectant to my hands frequently.
While I have adamantly denied the inheritance of my family's malady asthma, by employing all kinds of natural cures, it is getting really hard to climb the stairs without noticing I'm short on breath. And God forbid should I catch a cold it takes me weeks to rid it from my body.
I live in the small town of Eureka Springs and my Writer's group has opted to not meet for a few weeks. While disappointing it is probably wise.
So I suddenly see the whole world experiencing my world. I feel for everyone who has the virus or who is going to get it.
This fall I caught my Thanksgiving cold and had it whipped by Christmas only to be exposed to California family germs and enter back into the sick room once they left. BUT, for the first time in about 5 years I licked both maladies in record time, mild symptoms and without two different prescriptions for antibiotics. I did this by taking large doses of Monolauren, which my local healthfood store guru recommended. It is made from coconuts and it encapsulates the virus. I have no idea if it can help with this most deadly of viruses. My bottom line is, for me, I will continue to nourish my immune system and to use cautionary practices while having respect for this microscopic menace.
Stay healthy my friends
