You know I wouldn't say so if
it wasn't true. Besides, we could use a change. The place you've been
purchasing your pies and pastries from has gone downhill in the last
year."

She was right. They weren't bad but they had once been high-end for a shop delivering pastries to coffee shops, but lately, they'd been cutting corners and the selections they offered were sparse. "I guess we could give him a trial run."

Her lips curved into a wide grin. "Cool." "Don't get your hopes up. I might think his pastries suck...and I don't mean it in a flattering hot vampire kind of way," he teased.
