Drive Safe

Whenever I have to leave my grandson at daycare, home or with a sitter, he always walks me to the door, gives me several hugs and kisses then tells me to drive safe. At four years old, I am certain he doesn’t understand where I’m going or how long I will be gone. I’m not even sure he fully understands what ‘drive safe’ means but somewhere along the way he picked it up and without fail says it to me every time I have to go[image error] somewhere without him.
