Don’t Take this On

“Don’t take this on,” the Holy Spirit told me. “Don’t take on what I haven’t given you.”

I was thinking of reaching out to someone I sensed might need help. The Lord has given me a humongous heart for Him and a huge heart for others. So what could be wrong with reaching out with His love? Nothing wrong with what I was thinking of doing in terms of helping someone in possible need. What was wrong was the Lord made clear it wasn’t His will.
