Something I've Been Pondering...

Ever have a "friend"? You know the type, the kind that you're buddy-buddy with on the surface, but deep down you really just want to see each other fail?

I had a "friend" like that, his particular weapon of choice was playing devil's advocate. No matter what I talked about, he'd take the opposite position "just to promote a lively debate" when in fact it was just an opportunity for him to talk out his ass about things he knew practically nothing about.
