Reading on the Beach with Vampire in the Basement by Susan Hanniford Crowley

You are important. It’s a little thing to protect yourself from the sun to result in a lifetime of pleasure. After a winter of bone-chilling cold, I cherish the warm.  I’ve noticed that some people are bringing these little pop-up tents. I’m considering that.

I love reading on the beach and walking along and collecting shells. The sound of the surf lulls me to sleep, but I have to be careful on that to always use sunblock.

For your summer pleasure, I’d like to recommend the fourth book in the Vampires in Manhattan series. It’s a bit of a romp with familiar characters if you’ve read the other books. Vampire in the Basement is silly and sexy and a bit of an eye opener.

In an interview, I explained that I was inspired by the Norse Völsunga saga and it’s many incidents of shape-changing or shifting. Families don’t always shift to the same animal but instead to the individual’s spirit animal, the animal or creature that inspires them.

Right now while I wait for the new book to come out! I have more outlines of even more books. Some books are finished and need to be re-edited before they can come out.

Here’s Book 4 in the first series.

Vampire in the Basement, Vampires in Manhattan, Book 4 is available in Kindle.

Regina and Gregor

They survived one of New York City’s greatest disasters, and on their wedding day in Maine walk into another. Gregor aims to destroy the intruder who claims his bride. Regina must save the man she loves from a deadly curse with her magic. But she doesn’t know magic.

Lorraine and Theo

Everything about Lorraine is broken. She shapeshifts and forgets her clothes. She’s divorced and doesn’t believe in love anymore. Tall, blond, and handsome, Theo, vampire and Arnhem Knight, desires Lorraine, but is it more than lust? Would he give up the Arnhem Knights for her?

Love, furry handcuffs, and a pine tree.

What I love about this book is the variety of beings and the unexpected problems they have. Regina is half elf and half leprechaun, but she doesn’t know her magic. She didn’t even know her heritage until a few days before this. Lorraine is Gregor’s sister. She is a bunny shifter. Her special power is a lot of fun, risky but fun.

Enjoy your day reading on the beach and be sure to use skin protection from the sun.
