"Mrs. Walker?" 

At first glance, Melanie assumed the attendant was one of the products. He seemed handsome enough . . . until he smiled; his teeth were unapologetically crooked. 

The attendant was human. 

Dropping her eyes, she carefully folded the brochure and replaced it on the table in front of her. "Ms. Walker," she quietly corrected and her voice cracked from disuse.
