And now let's meet novelists Diane and David Munson, authors of the inspirational romantic suspense novel, North by Starlight (Micah House Media, Nov/2018), a family-friendly Christian suspense with “too much suspense for a romantic Hallmark movie” and “too much romance for a Hallmark cozy mystery.”

Besides prosecuting felons, Diane has practiced general law and was appointed by President Reagan’s Attorney General to head a department in the Justice Department.

David served as an investigator for the Senate Permanent Subcommittee on Investigations where he worked on national security issues.
Each of their eleven thrillers stand alone; however, the two protagonists do move from book to book. Diane and David’s eleven novels include the bestselling Joshua Covenant, The Looming Storm, and North by Starlight.
The Munsons live within a gated community in an undisclosed location, and are hard at work on their next thriller.
Okay, I have to say, you two are probably the coolest, most intriguing authors I've featured so far.
Please tell us one random thing we might not know about you.
Both of us have ridden elephants, Diane in a political parade, and David in Thailand.
Please tell us a bit more about the plot of North By Starlight.

When she races to defeat the claim of the mystery relative, who is a daughter adopted by Jordan’s aunt Rosalyn, Maddie makes a shocking discovery. Her ex-boyfriend Stewart is the opposing counsel, who she must challenge in court.
Stewart is eager to represent the interloper and will stop at nothing to destroy Maddie’s case. She sharpens her legal skills to outwit Stewart and a greedy mining enterprise bent on changing Starlight forever. While her faith is renewed as she and Jordan form a powerful alliance against geologist Trevor Kirk, the ensuing legal battle leaves her emotionally vulnerable.
In the end, will Maddie save Starlight or will Starlight save Maddie?
What is it about Maddie that will make your readers care about her?
As the book begins, Maddie is living and working in D.C., and has a wrong focus in her life, putting her trust in her legal career and an unworthy fiancé. Readers will witness Maddie’s transformation as she temporarily moves to the beautiful Green mountains of Vermont during the Christmas season, where she is influenced by God’s creation in the majestic mountains as well as the friendship and care of the local villagers.
As a result of their kindness to her, Maddie realizes she has ignored her parents and reaches out to them with a deeper love. Her faith walk is renewed and she grows to understand the values of an honorable man as she allows herself to have romantic feelings again.
What novel would you like to see brought to film?
The two series written by Brock and Bodie Theone, entitled The Zion Covenant (9 books about dangerous times leading up to WWII) and The Zion Chronicles , (5 books revealing the events of Israel’s statehood in 1948) are excellent and would make a fabulous mini-series from a Christian perspective.
I love that idea.
What is the last novel you read that you would recommend?
The Search by Grace Livingston Hill tells the compelling story of childhood friends and how their lives and faith are changed by the soldier’s enlistment in WWI. Diane has read all of Grace’s 100+ inspirational romances, which are filled with Believers in Jesus living out their faith in tumultuous challenges. This one truly inspires us to live strong and boldly during difficult times.
What are you working on now?
We are writing our twelfth thriller, which promises to be contemporary and exciting, but beyond that, it is embargoed.
I have so much respect for people who are able to work well on collaborative projects, especially couples!
