Give my hand

I saw him, again.

After all these years,

still the same man.

He had been waiting,

at the bus stop,

for me, once, twice.

We had lunch together,

even though he was very ill.

I talked with his wife,

at the end.

I know, how we made fun,

as we did.

It was good to give my hand.
