Red Squirrels Take Over While Nights of Passion Blog Reconstruction Continues!

Three red squirrels have moved into my yard. This was the first red squirrel I’ve seen in Connecticut in a lifetime of living here. Our squirrels are usually gray and double the size. Red is shy and it’s very hard to get a photo of him. If I get closer and hold my phone or iPad to my face, he or she is gone.  This is our feeding station that they come to every morning.

If I get too close, they will look at me. Otherwise when they see me taking a photo and I’m too close, they are running and saying unkind things in squirrel talk.
