And a Cat Riding a Unicorn…

Please excuse the lack of a real post this week. I’ve been in my writing cave pounding out words on a novella slated for August publication in a boxed set with a slew of other writers. It has been stop and go with this one for reasons I can’t figure out, but the words began flowing today after a big “ah-ha!” moment, and I was happy the dam broke. I wrote most of the morning, stopped around noon and took a 2.5 mile walk, then sat at the keyboard to write some more. Somewhere toward the end of my daily word count I glanced at the calendar.

I was so productive today, too, and felt pretty darn good about myself (until that moment of brutal revelation).

Anyway, I thought I should offer something special to make it up to you. So . . . I’ve given you Batman and Robin, a fluffy white kitten, and a cat riding a unicorn. I hope that’s enough to bring you back next week.

But seriously . . . a cat. Riding a unicorn.
