Friday, 5th April -- Glad you guys are enjoying the Post Pub mini-newsletter. The sofa is, yes, MacKenzie Childs. If you go in my photo gallery, you'll see a video of my office -- It's ALL MacKenzie Childs. As you can imagine, they love me. I call up to order (only them, everyone else is online) and they always say hi, Catherine, loved your latest book. (They're very smart, don't you think?)
I want to thank all of you for supporting A BRIT in the FBI series. I'm closing the series with the 6th and final thriller, THE LAST SECOND. I, personally, will miss Nicholas Drummond and Michaela Caine and their entire supporting cast -- what very neat people.
It's Friday yet again -- and this time I'm more pleased than not that the week flew by. I finished, last night, signing over 2,000 tip sheets for LABYRINTH, they go back today. Also I'm finishing the copy-edited LABYRINTH today, (thank you, Laura -- she's the copy editor) and it gets sent back through the ether -- so that means a FREE and totally nothing hanging-over-the-head weekend. How about you guys? What are your plans for the weekend?
Something really fun, I hope, other than Mexican food, try for something different, something out of your usual comfort zone -- well not too far out, that's more scary than rewarding, I think. Something cool, like, maybe the zoo? Yes, you could fly to San Diego and go to the zoo there -- the best in the known universe, at least in my opinion. It's in Balboa Park -- ah, it's been so very long.
Before tomorrow though, it's exercise time. Today you will move out -- walk, jog, skip, maybe line-dance -- MOVE, people.

I'm Baaaack!

Update on BOMBSHELL, the 17th FBI Thriller: I'm nearly finished with the edit. The cover is very cool, explodes with eye-popping color. BOMBSHELL is set in Maestro, Va., (the setting of the 10th FBI thriller, POINT BLANK) and in Washington.
JEWEL OF THE LION (first thriller in A Brit in the FBI series partnered with J.T. Ellison). JEWEL moves fast and you don't know what's going to happen on the next page, and you're biting your toenails or a zombie's toenails. J.T. is an excellent plotter and that means when we brainstorm no plot gets left behind.
Alas, no kids want candy enough to crawl up our oxygen-deprived steep driveway, and the sad thing is, I still have a big bowl of candy, every year, but no one comes, not even the zombies with brain bags.
Take care, Catherine
