Rainbow Snippets January 5th
So far 2019 is turning out to be a challenge…but I’m up for it!
I’m posting again from This Time Around (which is a rework of Refugees which is the sequel to For the Heart of Phillip). Drama was everywhere in the first book; but it’s been tamed in this volume, which follows Robert and David’s journey after things didn’t go as planned in book one.
FYI: The scene from last week mentions Robert’s father, Mark, had gone after Phillip. This scene is played out in the book prior to this, For the Heart of Phillip.

To set the stage: (spoiler alert)!!! In the first book, Robert and Phillip break up and David and Andrew break up.
We continue this week with the focus on Robert and what he does after he left Phillip. Robert’s father, Mark, had gone after Phillip, leaving Robert in his mother Cassie’s care:
She nodded and looked up into his eyes. “I sure hope you’re right, honey. I know how your father is. If someone’s wronged him or any of us, it’s personal.”
“I know.” He glanced at his luggage on the bed. “Well, better get unpacking. No way will Phillip change his mind and invite me back. He’s probably over at Andrew’s right now, making up with him.” His eyes teared up, but he haughtily brushed them away.
