Thrown a curve ball…

Hello all! How are you this lovely weekend? Here in the great midwest it is almost 60 degrees and sunny out. So naturally I’m indoors soaking up TV and cuddles with my cat. LOL

This week has been a rollercoaster ride for sure. Not one of those kiddie rides either, mind you. Nope. This is the scream-inducing, stomach-turning type of ride that you crave when you’re either 16 or not quite 54″ tall.

My new job (it’s been a month)…has just now gone to part-time hours, cutting my pay in half. It wasn’t a lot to begin with, but now half of little is very little.

To add to the fun and excitement, my husband goes under the knife in two weeks and I’ll be pulling in most of the income for us both. Fun! He’ll be out for almost three months. (and anyone in HR or benefits knows that Short and Long term disability don’t pay squat)…you only get 60-80% of your pay.

Therefore! It is now my duty to 1. find a 2nd job  2. find a new, higher-paying job with actual full-time hours or 3. reallly ramp up the book promos, art, crafts, anything I can sell to earn $ just until April.

April, we’re clear. But until then…I need ideas from my fellow creators. Which works best for you?

Patreon page with rewards?
Etsy store with handmade items?
Ebay auctions to sell old items?

I’m WIDE open to ideas as I have two weeks to really figure this out.
