Double Portion Anointing: Impartation of Divine Mantel and Anointing - Knowing the Ways of God
I received an email today in capital letters (don't you love it when you feel like you're being yelled at over email by absolute strangers!) saying:
DEAR PASTOR PAUL F. DAVIS MY NAME IS PASTOR ________. WOULD YOU PLEASE PRAY AND RELEASE AND IMPART THAT SAME MANTLE AND ANOINTING ON ME SO I CAN EXPERIENCE THE LORD IN MORE INTIMACY AND MIRACLES,SIGNS AND WONDERS. THANK YOU
My reply below is very revealing and instructive for us all.
Yes, I shall pray.
However truthfully you must daily press into God for this as He is the Source.
Moreover some things are caught by association and observation while serving rather than just a quick prayer. Hence Elisha served Elijah and received a double portion of his spirit (2King 2) as they saw eye to eye and Elisha learned "the ways of God" serving Elijah (see Psalm 103:7).
What and who you come under (speaking of submitting to and embracing their authority to speak into your life) determines what you will receive by way of impartation and go over into as you enter your personal promised land.
If you'd like to organize a meeting for me to minister in your city, I can do so to thereby help you further along in your pursuit of God's anointing for your life to serve your community.
