I delete a lot of spam comments off of here. Most are so poorly done as to be not even worth having tried in the first place. Obvious pornographic/financial/drug links, incoherent copy, generic statements that appear a million times, all that crap. It’s so quickly deleted and fools no one so much that it baffles the mind as to why someone even bothered sending it. One showed up today with the following message and what appeared to be a link to a YouTube video:
Today, while I was at work, my sister stole my iPad and tested to see if it can survive a 40 foot drop, just so she can be a youtube sensation. My apple ipad is now broken and she has 83 views. I know this is totally off topic but I had to share it with someone!
I still deleted it and could still immediately tell it was spam, particularly on a joke post about Gordon Ramsay, but I bet people click that link a lot. I bet that spam comment works.
