Her thoughts tumbling, racing, she pushed open the doors and let the cool, autumn air fill her lungs and the wind whip across her face.

"So," she said out loud, her eyes blazing, her hands firm upon her hips, "you think you can upstage me?" Letting the wind have its way, her hair freeing violently, her pins, no match, Nadia stood, rooted and welcomed the onslaught.
