RomCom with Feels

I write RomCom.

I love RomCom.

I love the humor. The romance. The awkward meet cutes and the even more awkward relationships that follow.

But I also love the feels. Those moments of character growth and realization.

At times when I write, I find myself tearing up. “Verklempt” (said in Mike Myers’ voice as he’s telling others to talk amongst themselves).

And I love those moments too.

Because life really is about all those things.

The highs. The lows.

The funny. The gut punches. The revelations.

I love my characters to death.

They’re a mess.

As are most of us.
