Had he met her before? Heart and Soul #8sunday #snippetsunday

Setup for this snippet: WIP from Heart and Soul. This is a snippet from my new 'rock star romance' that I'm working on. It's in the very early stages.

Last week Maverick and Rowan are planning the Merry Mayhem Event. We're continuing from there.
Maverick's POV. Rowan is speaking first.

"We may find some raw talent we could work with, and the audience can have some input."
"I'm game for that."
As she made some notes on the iPad, she'd brought with her, he lazily took in her appearance. Her hair was arranged with one of those clip-doodads he'd seen so many women use to bind their hair. She wore very minimal makeup as far as he could tell but he was no expert. If it wasn't caked on, he had no idea what women put on their faces. No matter what she used, she was beautiful, and she was easy to talk to as if he'd known her for a long time. She seemed at ease with him as well. He still couldn't shake the feeling that he'd known her before meeting her yesterday. "Where did you go to college?" he blurted interrupting her question about lighting and the sound equipment.
