Next month we will publish I Am the Seed That Grew the Tree: A Nature Poem for Every Day of the Year, illustrated by Frann Preston-Gannon and collected by Fiona Waters – a lavishly illustrated collection of 366 nature poems, one for every day of the year.

And today we’re very pleased to launch our website for the book – iamtheseed.com.

We’ve collected lots of wonderful material that can be found on the site: there are resources to download for schools, a blog, with a behind-the-scenes look at the book, our trailer and look inside previews of the book, and lots more.

And we’re especially happy to share a poem for every week of the year, selected from the book, and available to read and listen to for free on the website.

Every poem has been beautifully read by Samantha Bond – you can listen to this week’s poem, The Eagle by Alfred Lord Tennyson, on the I Am The Seed website now.
