Tuesday--Let me say only one more thing about a river cruise in Europe: If it's been dry and hot, it means the longboat won't have enough water to continue on the river which means you're off, and on a bus, or you have to change boats (we did) or if you're really unlucky, there is no boat to change to and your entire cruise is spent on buses. So if the summer forecast is for hot and dry, don't go. Or, this can happen: If you go say the middle of May, right after the snow has melted and water is pouring into the river, the boat could be too tall to go under bridges and you've in the same situation. Bus-time! So, a river cruise could be lovely if you['re not screwed around by the weather -- I'd suggest First week of May, before snow melt, or third week in September. Enough about the very unfortunate trip.
I'm working today on edits for THE ANCIENT SPIRITS OF SEDGWICK HOUSE -- the third Grayson Sherbrooke novella, out in October -- this one is great fun, with ancient Egypt in the mix.
Today, all of us will get someone place that's not roasting and cardio our brains out. Since I'm not all that loaded with ram, then I'll have to work harder. Everyone, consider your own well being, consider that you want to be around on this glorious earth for a good long time and you don't want to be stooped or crawling around -- nope, you want to always stand straight and tall (SBB) and be smiling --
