Day 4 10 Day Green Smoothie Challenge July 25, 2018.

Happy 28th Birthday to my baby girl Caity.  She spells her name Caiti, so we'll go with either one. She's 28!!  I can't believe it. She's really grown into such a gorgeous young woman.  She's married to a great guy Brandon, and they have two fantastic and wonderful kids, Copeland and Sailor. I am very proud of my little girl, and very happy for her.

This is the 4th day of the challenge, and as I did yesterday, and probably will do in the future, I am writing earlier than later, so it's really like the 3.5 day.  I've not gone a full 4 days. It's a full 3 and 1/2 days.   This morning I woke up rested, I did notice that. I have been sleeping well since I stopped drinking tea in the evenings. I guess I could drink green tea and be OK, but that black tea will kick your butt!  I was up all night Saturday and thought I would never get rested.  Now, I'm doing the green smoothies and drinking more water than normal. Normal water intake for me is copious, so drinking more is actually kind of scary. You hear about people who die from water overdosing!!  I don't need that sort of thing hanging over my corpse.  I'd rather die in a more acceptable manner, or not die at all, and just be one of the gathered souls at the rapture! LET'S GO!!

So, today's poop, because as we all know, it's all about the poop, was both green as emeralds and full as it was yesterday. What I did notice is that I went two times yesterday morning, and so far this morning I have also visited the bathroom on two separate occasions. As I told my dog George, who always accompanies me to the bathroom, I could sit on the toilet for an hour if I thought I would lose more weight. He agreed, but quickly left the room in case what I was hoping was really true. He's like that. He's a really good dog, but in the end he's all about himself.  Cute dog though. He's a little mini-Dachshund. He was a pound puppy that had been rescued from breeders. He was called "2273" before I named him George. He's almost 9, wow, time flies.

Back on track. I feel good. I am not hungry, and that's the main thing. I am going through the day asking myself if I'm hungry and if I am what will I eat that isn't fattening or full of processed sugars and/or carbs. It's not an easy thing to do when you're used to just grabbing junk, but remember, I buy the food in my house, I make the decisions, so NO more junky food. I can do this. I have cherries, walnuts, Twizzlers, fig bars, and if I HAVE to have chocolate, I do have that, and believe me when I say I do HAVE To have chocolate. I only eat dark chocolate, and today it's chocolate covered raisins. Then, the other day I saw a YouTube video that showed me how raisins are one of the three fruits to avoid!  ARE THEY SERIOUS?  They were. So from now on, after I finish these raisins, my chocolate will only be that, chocolate.

Apparently bananas are full of fat, pineapples and raisins have too much sugar, and you really have to watch the amount you choose to take into your body. You can have an entire apple and have 1/2 of the calories and sugar as you will with only a handful of raisins. That's just silly talk right there, but it's true.  Cherries are good, and because you have to master your way around the pit you take more time, and eat fewer than you would if they were pitted. Cherries also have all those good antioxidants. You need that. Some people just buy cherry juice and drink it, nope, I like the fruit.

OK then, that's about it for the day. I did take a photo of my big fat self and I will post it WHEN I lose the weight, not before. I will post it first so you can see, and I will try to wear the same clothes so you can tell it's really me, and I'll also stand in the same spot. I hate those before and after shots where the people stand differently, wear tighter clothes and suck it in, and they stand closer to the mirror the first time and back in the second, so you think they are thinner. I will be HONEST about it. I just honestly don't want to put my fat self up on the world wide web until I can brag about NOT being that fat!  YES, that's the plan.  Carry on.
