Dreams led her here… Heart and Soul #8sunday #snippetsunday

Setup for this snippet: WIP from Heart and Soul. This is a snippet from my new 'rock star romance' that I'm working on. It's in the very early stages.

This week:
The dream ended abruptly. Rowan's eyes flew open and she sat up in bed.
This is Rowan's POV.

The light from the moon shone through the window where the curtains were slightly parted bathing the room in a soft glow. Her gaze took in her surroundings and realized she was in her new apartment, her new home. Leaning over to retrieve her phone from the nightstand, the screen lit up with a touch and the time read 3:00 am. She placed the phone down and settled back on her pillow. She had another dream, starring her in another life. The man in her dreams always told her everything would be all right but it hadn't been. Everything went sideways in a way neither of them had expected.
The dream tonight had been one of the happier ones, but she had others that weren't so cheerful.

She turned on her side and curled her knees toward her. Her dreams led her here, and with luck, she'd find the answers she sought and hopefully peace.
