A Fortnight of Questions. #5
I got this from @brynwrites forever ago and I saved them all as a draft cause I wanted to do them, so I’m just going to keep doing them like nothing happened…… :)
Rules: Answer this question (and any previous questions you wish), and then tag as many or as few people are you feel like, between zero and infinity.
Previous questions: #1, #2, #3, #4
What is/are your main character(s) primary goal(s)? Which traits, beliefs, etc, will they need to change in order to reach these goals? If there’s no explicit change needed to reach the goal, how does the character’s development interweave with and/or effect their quest for the goal?
Chloe just wants to fit in and be accepted. The problem isn’t Chloe’s traits, it’s the goal. In pursuing her goal to fit in, she tends to erase herself, and become whatever the situation requires. This tendency makes her a perfect soldier for a secret scifi agency, which, as you might imagine, isn’t a good thing.
(Bonus question: Are you a planner who wants to know their final climactic decision ahead of time, or are you going with the flow and waiting to be surprised?)
A combination of the two, really. I generally am heading in a set direction, but I don’t usually plot things out until it feels necessary.
