What is the political and social climate like in your story? Where does/do your main character(s) stand within it?

#TIGER takes place in modern day America. I intentionally don’t mention the year or the presidency. BUT the idea of America World Police and the government doing shady shit behind Americans’ backs are strong themes throughout the series. Chloe is entirely oblivious to the importance of the political climate she enters into, or the effect her presence in such a system has on the global-political climate.

(Goofy bonus question: How would they respond to being drafted into the military?)
