One of my loves!

Pellet Stove

I CAN NOT BELIEVE OCTOBER IS OVER!

Two nights ago our pellet stove was meticulously cleaned and officially fired up for the first time this season. I love this little giant. It puts out enough heat to keep us and our home warm and toasty all through the winter. The little pea sized wood pellets fall from a chute into the burn pot located inside the front of the stove.  When running non stop, the stove will go through 40 pounds of pellets in a day and a half.  The amount of ash to clean up is literally two cups at the most. It's efficient and functional and one of my favorite joys in the evenings throughout the winter.

My Blog this week is short and a little late due to retreats that we are hosting here at Breath Of Life Retreat House.

In the meantime, I am still learning so much about social media and marketing for my book. It's mind boggling, but I enjoy figuring out the opportunities that are out there. I know that the old fashioned word of mouth form of advertising still works well. If you have read my book and it has inspired you to think about your past, present and future, I hope you will spread the word about it to your friends, co-workers, and family, especially those who might be suffering with the loss of a loved one, or feeling hopeless, helpless and even unforgiving.  Know that I too felt those feelings, but not for too long. There is a way to conquer them and perhaps reading my story will help to inspire and find hope

in what seems hopeless.

I will be back this Friday to share about a very special visit from two people who came to "Meet Me In The Mountains"  I haven't seen them for over 20 years.
