Are you ready to Awaken?
I'm so thrilled to announce that The Awakening of Nina Fontaine, my much beloved older woman book, released this week.
I've loved writing all my Mob Boss and Syndicate books, but I wanted to try something a little different. My dream project was a mix of romance (still steamy!) and women's fiction, a story about reinvention and sex in midlife, about both the grief and possibility of realizing some things are behind us.
Enter Nina, a forty-five year old divorcee who's moved from the suburbs to New York City. Nina is still reeling from her divorce as she connects with a group of smart, funny women, finds a new job (and a new interest), and dates two very different men (one older and one younger).
I've loved writing her story so much. Early readers have used words like "resonate" and "relate" to describe the book, which I totally take as a compliment. One reader even called it "Fifty Shades for the older set", attesting to it's HAWT factor.
